Comments: Stayed with my family of 5 for 5 nights and had my father and sister with her children next door. The 3br apartments were beautifully decorated and designed and easily accommodated our large family. The secure canal at the rear of the apartment was great and the kids could fish off the grass right at the end of our back deck - perfect. The hosts were very accommodating and arranged everything for us at a moments notice. The westher wasnt so kind but we did manage a couple of great days for boating. We loved it! July 2011
Liked: The apartment, location and canal.
Disliked: Pools a little small. And weather not so Kind.

Comments: The best thing about the property is the location - walking distance to the river, restaurants and shops in Noosaville and a pleasant short ferry trip to Nosa Heads. The property had all we needed. I have already recommended it to a friend who was heading on holidays that way.

Comments: We could not rate this accommodation highly enough. The location was perfect, particularly in relation to shops and restaurants on Gympie Tce. The accommodation itself was well fitted out in a very peaceful and beautiful location. The managers were very friendly and helpful. We were extremely sad to leave and look forward to visiting again.

Comments: Paradise On The Water. This is a peaceful and beautiful resort. The waterfront units have great decks overlooking the water while the garden units provide a safer environment for small children. The three pools in separate areas mean that you often get one to yourself and the well-kept gardens create a great tropical feel. Many of the waterfront units have been refurbished with full-width bifold doors opening on to the decks -- great for watching the boats go by with a glass of wine in hand. The management team are efficient and helpful, on several occasions they have `gone the extra mile' to help us with choice of units, early check-in, etc. Noosa Heads and Hastings Street are a five-minute drive away but there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants withn easy walking distance in Noosaville. Noosa is our favourite destination in SE Queensland, and Noosa Entrance is our favourite base for enjoying it.

Comments: I was surprised at the quality of the units and pleasantly surprised with the waterfront view. A measure of security was present, on a small note some manual locks would be appreciated on the main doors and also bedroom doors. For waterfront living, this definitely does the trick. The managers, Judy(singaporean) and Brad(singaporean PR) were helpful and friendly and they have obviously taken good care of the units and grounds, as well as being owners. No reservations in recommending this resort to anyone visiting Noosa, and if I and my family return to Noosa, I will for sure stay at this resort. If you book, make sure you get a unit with a waterfront view. Noosa itself is a nice place, a bit quiet, but not as quiet as some other places, it does have shops, an interesting market for tourists(Eumundi market), nice for some boating or fishing. Eating seafood, you have to go with steaks, because western cold seafood usually is disappointing to us chinese. The raw oysters and boiled prawns are sweet, but boiled crabs and lobsters are universally tasteless. Fine dining can be found at the Noosa Waterfront Restn(no problems), and just eat-to-live food anywhere on Gympie Terrace. Maisies(restn) was very disappointing to us, the cold seafood tasteless and the oysters kilpatrick not fresh. If you go here, eat the steak and ignore the seafood.

Comments: Beautiful one day, perfect the next! I have not one bad thing to say about this resort. My partner and I needed a relaxing break away from the city and that's exactly what we got! and more! The unit we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous - modern and contemporary looking and above all clean!! The water was literally at our doorstep! Breakfast every morning on the deck by the water and throwing a line in every now and again made for a great holiday. The balcony off our master bedroom was absolutely fantastic for a cool drink of an afternoon. The staff are more than accommodating - greeting us on arrival with a weather forecast and cinema session times. There was an abundance of information in the guest book also making your stay that much more hassle free. If you're looking for a relaxing get away with everything at your finger tips - Noosa Entrance is exactly where you want to be!

Comments: I did not believe that a holiday unit could be so affordable and so comfortable and spacious...was a fabulous weekend and we made many memories with our dad who passed away only 3 months later. It was meant to be our last family holiday and it was fantastic...dad loved to fish so we got the waterfront units where he was able to fish and relax...everything was perfect...only downside was ordering take in...the places that supply room service were extremely expensive...would not recommend using them...much cheaper to actually go out or have a BBQ dinner which we did one night using the BBQ supplied with the unit. Fantastic place...will definitely be going again soon!
Liked: Everything! So pretty along the water at night...
Disliked: Had a small problem with ants...there was ants in the cupboard when we arrived and had to make sure there were no food scraps or crumbs anywhere to avoid theproblem...other than that perfect!

Manager Comments: In 2009 the ant problem has been particularly bad in the Sunshine Coast. We have recently enhanced our vigilance of the ant problem as well as our maintenance programme for ant control.

Comments: This is not a hotel but a developement of luxury self catering town houses. We stayed there for a few days rest & relaxation following a busy holiday in Australia. The properties are well equiped but ours had a rather small terrace (there were four of us). The waterfront setting is attractive and peaceful. There are a few small swimming pools and barbeque facilities onsite. You can walk to a number of restaurants but we had a hire car which is necessary as noosa is quite spread out. The manager of the resort was helpful and arranged bookings for various trips. A good place to chill out.

Comments: These units are very spacious. Two large bedrooms upstairs large bathroom connecting both bedrooms and down stairs had a sep dinning area and living room which oped out onto a deck that lead to the river. In the morning it was so nice to see the water right at your door step. If your after Sun then make sure you request it as some of the units don't get the afternoon sun but then again this is a plus for those hot summer days. The pools are great. They are great for kids and they could stand up in areas of all the pools (age 3 and 5) There is no real area for kids to play but there is a strip of land between your apartment and the river. There's also FREE fishing rods that you can use to catch fish from the two jetties which you have access too. Units were very clean and it takes about 10 min to walk to shops. All units have a small garage so you lock your car away at night and the entire place is locked down at night with only guests having electronic access to the area. It does have WIFI but you pay for this and its not cheap, I used an interent cafe down the road. each unit has its own BBQ on the deck which was fantastic and there's also a BBQ area near the main pool. Would I go back, yes, would I tell my friends yes.

Comments: We stay at the The Noosa Waterfront Resort for 9 nights in July 2009. We had a lovely unit with the living areas down stairs and the 3 bedrooms above. The living area opened out onto a deck and on to a grassy sloping area and down to the canal and small jetty for fishing and relaxing. The unit was unit 6 and only recieved filtered sun in the late afternoon. The spot would be great from couples or older children but we took our 3 boys 9,7 and 5 years and we probably would not stay again with the children as there was not enough area for the them to kick a ball as it would roll into the canal and the heated pool was not big enough for lots for children. The children did enjoy the pool and fishing from the jetty and kayaking on the canal but we had to take them out a lot to the playground and for things to occupy them. The managers were very helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. We did the Camel riding through the bushland and on the beach with the Camel Company on the Northshore and would recomend this to all - it seemed expensive but was well worth it.

Comments: The accommodation was of excellent quality: wonderful location, spacious, well decorated, well equipped and clean. Reception and general service was first class. The apartment was short of some crockery when we arrived but this was soon rectified. All advice given on sights and restaurants was valuable. The tour booking service we received was excellent as Brad had to do quite a bit of phoning and checking to get us on the tour we wanted. We had a wonderful time, thank you

Comments: As is usual when you book something off the internet, you are always wondering what is wrong with a place that they haven't told you. And since we were going to be staying for 3+ weeks, we had to make sure it was right for a family of 6. In the case of Noosa Entrance - There is nothing wrong! The apartments were spacious, facilities sufficient, clean, and staff helpful and friendly. But above all, the location is unbeatable. I looked at many apartment complexes throughout Noosa and Noosaville when we were there and there are apartment complexes with flashier websites and supposedly rank higher in 'Trip Advisor', but after going there and checking some of them out, they don't come up to Noosa Entrance's standards at all. You won't be disappointed.

Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Entrance and found the townhouses to be very spacious and well situated on the canal at our front door. This was very advantageous for boat access and we were able to catch fish at our back door. The Entrance is also only a short walk from all the Gympie Terrace restaurants and shopping.

Manager Comments: Seven of our apartments feature reverse-cycle air-conditioning in all rooms, and another nine apartments feature air-conditioning in the master bedroom as well as the living area. If air-conditioning in more than one room is required we encourage guests to request this feature when making a booking or enquiry and, subject to availability, we will do our best to fulfil the requirement.

Comments: Our family stayed at this resort in March 08 for a week. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the shops & restaurants, all located within an easy 5 minute walk. There are 3 pools & we were lucky enough to stay in unit 45 which was right next to the small heated pool. The unit amenities were very good & the gardens are lovely. We will be back!
